On Friday, 29 May 2026, the Board of the Consular Corps of Northern Ireland was honoured to attend the farewell reception hosted by the Italian Consulate at The Merchant Hotel in Belfast, marking the conclusion of Consul General Veronica Ferrucci’s distinguished term for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The evening brought together members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the Italian community, and partner organisations to celebrate Consul General Ferrucci’s dedicated service and the strong relationships she has fostered throughout her tenure.
On behalf of all our members, the CC-NI extends its sincere gratitude to Consul General Ferrucci for her professionalism, friendship, and unwavering commitment to international cooperation. Her contribution to strengthening diplomatic and community ties in Northern Ireland has been greatly appreciated.
