Consular Corps Meets with Stormont Executive at Historic Hillsborough Castle

HILLSBOROUGH – The Consular Corps for Northern Ireland held a significant meeting with the
Stormont Executive Office at the historic Hillsborough Castle, marking another milestone in
diplomatic relations within the region.

The President of the Consular Corps for Northern Ireland delivered a presentation to attendees in
what was described as an “auspicious setting” at the castle, which served as an impressive backdrop
for the diplomatic gathering.

The meeting comes ahead of the Consular Corps Northern Ireland Annual Briefing, which has been
scheduled for the afternoon of 14 January. The briefing will also take place at Hillsborough Castle,
in the State Dining Room.

Hillsborough Castle, with its rich historical significance, provided what participants called “an
incredible setting with historic credentials” for the diplomatic exchange.

The engagement reflects the continuing efforts to strengthen consular relations and communication
channels in Northern Ireland.
