BELFAST – The Consular Corps of Northern Ireland has elected new leadership for the next two
years during its Annual General Meeting held on Monday, 9 June
The newly elected leadership team comprises President Nicholas Lestas, Vice-President Caroline
Keenan, Secretary Giorgio Zarrelli, and Treasurer Kristian Kubasch. The board will guide the
association’s full-time and honorary consuls who represent their countries and support communities
across Northern Ireland.
The incoming leadership has expressed commitment to supporting the organisation’s members and
strengthening the role consuls play in fostering international cooperation and community
engagement throughout the region.
The transition follows the tenure of outgoing President Dr Federica Ferrieri, whose dedication and
leadership over the past year have been recognised for successfully guiding the association through
its activities.

the diplomatic community and the people of Northern Ireland
